2. purposes of data processing, legal bases and recipients
We process personal data insofar as this is necessary for the establishment and performance of contracts and for the implementation of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 para. 1b DSGVO, 11-15a TMG) or consent (Art. 6 para. 1a, 7, 8 DSGVO; § 13 para. 2 TMG) to the respective processing. Processing may also be carried out in consideration of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject in order to protect overriding legitimate interests of the controller or third parties (Art. 6 (1) f, 31 BDSG [new]). If processing is carried out on behalf (Art. 28 DSGVO), we only work with processors who provide sufficient guarantees that the processing will be carried out in accordance with the legal requirements and will ensure the protection of the rights of data subjects. Transfers of personal data by the controller or its processors take place exclusively within the European Economic Area or to those third countries for which the European Commission has decided that an adequate level of protection is warranted (Art. 45 GDPR) or insofar as appropriate safeguards for this exist, which may be enshrined in standard data protection clauses issued or approved by the European Commission (Art. 46, 93(2) GDPR), binding internal data protection rules (Art. 47 GDPR) or approved codes of conduct (Art. 40 GDPR).
Creation of log files
Each time our website is accessed, we collect data and information by an automated system. These are stored in the log files of the server (Art. 6 para. 1f DSGVO, § 15 para. 1 TMG).
The following data may be collected in this context:

Processing in the context of contracts and pre-contractual measures
In the context of contracts and pre-contractual measures, we process so-called inventory data and usage data. Inventory data is data that is required for the establishment, content design, modification or termination (§§ 14 para. 1 TMG). Usage data is processed in the provision of a telemedia service in order to enable, perform and bill the service (Section 15 (1) TMG). If we have concluded contracts with third parties for the collection of fees, we transmit to them the inventory and traffic data required for invoicing and the collection of fees, whereby the third parties are obligated to maintain telecommunications secrecy and data protection (Art. 6 Para. 1b, f DSGVO, Art. 97 Para. 1 Sentence 3, 4 TKG, Art. 15 Para. 5 TMG).
Assertion, exercise, defense of legal claims
For the assertion, exercise, defense of legal claims, we transmit personal data to collection service providers within the meaning of § 2 para 2 sentence 1 Legal Services Act (RDG) or lawyers (Art. 6 para 1b, f, para 4; § 24 para 1 No. 2 BDSG [new]).
3 Duration of data storage
Inventory and usage data are deleted in accordance with § 13 para. 4 TMG in principle with the expiry of the access or other use immediately after its termination. In addition, usage data will be used beyond the end of the usage process to the extent necessary for billing purposes (Section 15 (4) TMG).
We delete copies of official identification documents immediately after the purpose of identifying the subscriber concerned has been achieved (Section 20 (4) of the German Identity Card Act).
Otherwise, personal data is deleted immediately after the purpose for processing it has been fulfilled (Art. 17 Para. 1a DSGVO).
Insofar as we are contractually or legally obligated to retain data for a longer period of time (e.g., under tax or commercial law regulations for the retention of documents), the data will not be deleted, but will be restricted for any other processing in accordance with Art. 18 Para. 1c DSGVO (Art. 17 Para. 3b, e DSGVO, § 35 BDSG, § 15 Para. 4 Sentence 2 TMG).

Every data subject has the right to information from us according to Art. 15 DSGVO, the right to rectification according to Art. 16 DSGVO, the right to erasure according to Art. 17 DSGVO, the right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 DSGVO and the right to data portability according to Art. 20 DSGVO with regard to the personal data processed by us.
